That is my idea. I was going to post an Instructable.com on how to make your own with a pair of your favorite pants. Just haven't had the time yet. The 3m sew on reflective fabric is available widely on the internet. I had also voiced the fact that the reflective flap in the pocket should be standalone and flip out of the pocket so that the pocket is usable instead of the pocket needing to be reversed completely rendering it unusable.

Oh cool Tom,
Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll hang onto my 90 buck and wait for a version 2.0 or maybe I'll make my own. how cool would that be... a Seeds Sewn brand reflective-lined chinos or Carharts or Dickies... I'll work on it and let you know how they turn out. If they work out well, maybe we will sell them in our shop!

I won a pair of these in a contest. I like em for the most part. They need to do some refining on keeping the pants from unrolling when they get wet (heavy) and the leg is just a hair too baggy. I think they're coming out with darker colors soon too, which is good, the tan gets dirty (shows dirt) very quickly. Overall I've been happy as mine were free but I'm looking forward to version 2.0.
