If you have been sitting around scratching your head, wondering how you would help build you local bicycle community this spring, look no further! Studio Gelardi developed a tool that they claim will “Builds Biking Communities” – the Contrail Biking Community Tool. In its simplest form, you rub chalk on your rear wheel and leave colorful path wherever you ride, which I personally think is a bit dumb. Gelardi’s site quotes doobybrain.com, “By using this device, bicyclists will have a clearer path on which to ride safely and out of the way of vehicular traffic.” I assume this person is from the burbs, because you’d last five minutes riding downtown with this method of navigation.
