Patrick just finished up some pretty dope buttons and if you’re smart, you’ll buy one of each here. Its great to see other like-minded folks making moves, even if it is just buttons. However, if you’ve checked his blog in the last few days, you may have noticed that giant octopus screen machine – I expect to see something great soon!
Our boy Nao has dropped his brand new 3RRR chainring, “The Mighty Pimp!” Made from the same 7075 T-6 alloy as his 46T “Bling Ring,” the new 49T ring features a minimal cut-out design, a broad tooth profile with a slight edge profile, and a very nice polished finish. Available direct from 3RRR or from OPEN, and a steal at $72. (These will be up on our webstore, along with many other exclusive goodies, next week!)
I just came across this Shop Gentei x R.E.Load collaboration on HighSnobiety as I was getting some of the recap from the Magic tradeshow. I stuck around Boston getting closer to opening Open, while a huge crew of friends gathered in Vegas for the tradeshow, parties and 5am trips to the blackjack table – definitely not missing out next fall. As for this bag project, catch the other pics of the bag here and head over to Shop Gentei and purchase one!
I’m sitting in the sun. Well, I’m sitting in the flat Boston late-winter light coming though the door as I peruse the interwebs, make calls, and generally act the part of an up-and-coming entrepreneur. Here’s a little selection of cool stuff I came across- soon we’ll all be out in short sleeves instead of hiding indoors!
The best way to say goodbye to winter is with No Breaks, No Rules (except No Brakes) and No Mercy.
Thank Prolly for this summary of events to come: February 27 – March 1

I am working on a deal with the Fung Wah to get a bike-only crew down for this on the cheap – more info to come soon! Email me or leave a comment if you want in on the bootleg bus action. Check the MTX blog for (possibly) more info - MonstertrackX

Chrome just released the Soyuz roll top backpack, designed for “tech athletic nomad that demands performance and functionality.”
After some inspection of the photos, it looks like the perfect bag for a commuter in the creative or business driven profession. Beyond its use, the bag has a certain level of sophistication & detail that separates it from most other commuter bags I’ve seen – good work Chrome design team.
The Soyuz has an integrated laptop pocket, accessible from the side of the pack – seems rather practical to me. There is also a good amount of storage for smaller things, such as a camera or a portable hard-drive. To ensure everything stays dry, the bag utilizes urethane-coated zippers and an internal weatherproof liner, which is independent from the external shell. You can check out a full description of the bag on the Chrome site, here.
I checked this out earlier on the Charge blog and then lost internet connection for most of the day – so here you go, some great stuff from Windsor, UK:
