East Coast Comin’ Up!

Empire from Empire on Vimeo.

This caught me off guard… unlike the Macaframa crew, dropping little teasers every week, I had heard nothing of this.  Then, BAM! Hi-def megapolitan beauty… enjoy and check out the Empire blog in the future- I assume there will be content coming.

Harvard Square Properly Fixed

Rapha just announced their Fixed Jacket, a true gentleman’s jacket with a very sleek aesthetic. The jacket uses 3xDry® material, which is rather remarkable – its water-repellent, absorbs perspiration and stimulates cooling. It looks like it might be a good alternative to Gore-Tex. Rapha makes some of the more advanced cycling apparel in the UK, so they are quite comfortable slapping a $430 price tag on the sleeve.

Check Rapha’s site for more on the Fixed Jacket.

Will Ride For Clothes.

A little over a week ago, myself and a few friends were suckered into modeling some “hot fall fashions”, as your youthful suburban aunt may say…Here is the pic that got blasted around the world by Karmaloop. Shout outs to D-Nasty (L), Justin (Mid R) & Brian (R) for using white-strips the night before. Also a special thanks to SFA! for not making me wear that white button up with a vest and paper-boy hat…

Shepard Fairey Pastes My Front Yard!

After enjoying a veggie burrito with extra cheese from Felipe’s (a dope local burrito joint), I bumped into Shepard Fairey as he slung broom-fulls of fresh paste onto the wall outside of my studio. Mr. Obey himself was kicking around the square all day with his crew, properly placing pure political propaganda. Say that five times fast! And then go check out his show at the ICA, which is slated to run from February 6 until April 19, 2009.

I’m gonna stop complaining about Boston weather.  ZLOG crew out on the rainy Pacific Northwest coast are consistently dropping some of the most original riding yet.  This latest vid ups the ante, hard.
